Useful things are empty in nature.
An empty cup can contain water.
One can write on an empty sheet of paper.
One can live in an empty room.
Different thoughts arise from an empty mind.
The list goes on.
This is not some new idea I just discovered. Daoists (and possibly many other philosophers) have found out about this much earlier than I did.
One cannot help but ask: Is there something that is empty in the physical sense (just like an empty cup or an empty room) and empty in its use? (That is, useless. It is use-empty instead of use-ful, get it…?)
Something empty and useless might just be something that never came into existence, that which has yet to be named and spoken of. I have no idea what it is, but it has an infinite number of possibilities. And that is exciting.
